Russia: Siberian fisherman takes the hunt under the waves

In the Siberian town of Krasnoyarsk in northern Russia, a local fisherman has decided to go high tech in his search for the best catch. The intrepid hunter, Yuri, pulls on his wetsuit and scuba equipment to hunt down fish in the freezing depths of the Yenisei river.

Hunting with a specialised air-powered spear gun, Yuri spends more than two hours under water that is a mere one or two degrees celsius above zero. Every time he goes hunting in the Yenisei, Yuri covers a distance of seven to ten kilometers (four to six miles).
