France: Macron receives his Kenyan counterpart at Elysee Palace

French President Emmanuel Macron received his Keynan counterpart William Ruto at the Elysée Palace in Paris on Tuesday.

After several telephone conversations, this has been the first meeting between the two presidents and the first trip to France by Ruto since his election.

According to the Kenyan presidency, the two leaders discussed further cooperation in peace and security in the East African region, alongside ways to increase investment between the two countries.
