Ruff day at the office? Watch Kursk police dog duo sing along to sirens
German shepherds Cross and Karlis enjoy singing along to the police sirens while on duty at Kursk’s Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs Canine Service Centre.
Ruptly met the four-legged crooners on Friday. Cross was apparently the first to discover his potential, during a routine call-out.
"[We] needed to [go] urgently and we turned on the blinker, and he [Cross] was right there [in the car] singing," Kursk Region Canine Service Centre's Junior Inspector Yuri Krasnikov said.
Not to be outshone, Karlis decided to show off his singing skills too.
"When [Karlis] heard it, [he] sang too. Maybe he overheard it and sang separately from it too. [Cross] will say: 'I sing, why do not you? Why are you falling behind me'?" Krasnikov shared.
According to the police officer, the dogs are not distracted from their duties and only sing along to the police siren itself, ignoring any other music.
Cross and Karlis promptly captivated social media, while various Telegram channels started posting videos of them. With two such talented hounds of the force, it could only be a matter of time before the department puts together a full choir.
