USA: COVID vaccination hub opens at Manhattan conference centre
The Javits Center in New York City opened its doors on Wednesday as a hub for the COVID vaccination.
The conference center was used as a temporary field hospital treating coronavirus patients during the pandemic's first wave last year.
The venue will be administering vaccines to eligible recipients as the city planned to set up other such 24-hour sites in the coming weeks.
