Rise of the Machines. Driverless car goes round in circles *EXCLUSIVE*
A driverless car going round in circles was filmed in the city of Perm in Russia's Far East on Thursday, proving that vehicles can become intelligent on their own, not only in Hollywood blockbusters.
The car was shown to hinder traffic, with other drivers carefully bypassing around this moving obstacle. The footage also shows passers-by attempting to stop the driverless vehicle, but to no avail.
At one point, the car's owner appeared on the scene. In the haste, he had even forgotten to put on his trousers. After a couple of tries, he managed to stop his vehicle.
Reportedly, the driver had forgotten to put the gear into neutral and raise the hand brake, along with aligning the steering wheel, which resulted in the car starting to circle around by inertia.
