Brazil: Home fans celebrate comfortable victory in Copa America opener
Brazil got their Copa America 2019 campaign off to a winning start against Bolivia at Sao Paulo's Morumbi on Friday night.
Supporters watched the game from a public viewing event at the city's fan fest. The crowd was a sea of the nation's distinctive yellow and green, peppered by a small number of Bolivian fans.
The first half ended goalless, with boos ringing around the stadium, but a brace from Philippe Coutinho early in the second half all but secured the result. Everton Soares then added a third late on.
The hosts are favourites to lift the Copa America at the Maracana on July 7. A good run of results in the lead up to the tournament, weakened opposition and the home advantage look set to play into the Selecao's hands.
