A construction worker was killed and at least 11 others were injured in Madrid on Tuesday, following the collapse of scaffolding at the site of renovations at the city's Ritz Hotel.
Ambulances and fire engines rushed to the scene of the incident as Madrid Emergency Services were deployed to care for the injured workers and secure the area.
