01:13Spain: Bus crashes through barrier, hangs precariously over bridge
A Municipal Transport Company (EMT) of Madrid bus veered off the road, through a barrier and was left hanging over a bridge on Sunday, according to the Madrid emergency services.
The bus was not carrying any passengers at the time. The driver was slightly injured but managed to escape the vehicle unassisted.
The accident happened around six o'clock in the morning, when the bus was on its way from Plaza de Castilla to the Mad Cool Festival in Valdebebas.
The City council of Madrid fire brigade hauled the bus back on to the road. The Civil Guard is investigating how the accident occurred.
