France: Police make arrests following Lille fan scuffles
At least one fan was arrested after riot police intercepted rival football fans who were provoking each other in central Lille, Tuesday.
Fans threw chairs and bottles and had minor scuffles before police arrived to separate the two groups. The incident occurred outside a bar next to the Gare de Lille train station.
Major clashes between Russian and England supporters kicked off over the weekend as the two teams met in their first Group B game in Marseilles on Saturday. Since the incidents, police have enforced a drinking ban during match days and detained dozens of supporters.
