Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing, Friday, to round off his two-day visit to the Chinese capital.
The meeting concentrated on preparations for the upcoming visit to Beijing by Russian President Vladimir Putin, planned for June. During the meeting, the foreign ministers also marked the strengthening of bilateral relations and international cooperation as a priority for both countries.
Earlier on Thursday, Lavrov met with Chinese President Xi Jinping and took part in the fifth ministerial meeting of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia.
