
Serbia: Friendly relations to be maintained with Russia, Turkey - Vucic
Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu met with his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic during an official state visit to Belgrade, Monday.
At a joint press conference, the leaders oversaw a bilateral cooperation agreement which was signed by Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey Yalcin Akdogan and his Serbian counterpart Rasim Ljajic
After the assigning, Vucic commented on Serbia's relations with Russia saying "We are happy that Russians are our friends, and we are not ashamed of it, but, on the contrary, we are proud," and that
he would like "all the problems between the mutual relations of Russia and Turkey to be resolved in the best possible way."
Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said "Turkey too had extremely good relations with Russia until now, until its intervention to Syria. There was an acceleration and pragmatic change in relations with Russia in our term. I hope these good relations can be established again."
During his two-day visit, Davutoglu is scheduled to take part in a Serbian - Turkish business forum, which aims to establish trade links between the the countries.
