
Russia: Iranian Vice President tries out 3D combat simulators at MAKS-2015
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitri Rogozin guided Iran's Vice President Sorena Sattari around the MAKS-2015 aerospace show in Zhukovski, Tuesday.
Sattari had the chance to stop by the 3D combat simulators which are used to train Sukhoi Su-35 and MiG-29 pilots. Rogozin also showcased the cockpit of the new Irkut MC-21 mid-range Russian jet airliner which is scheduled to enter into service in April 2016.
The International Aviation and Space Salon, known as MAKS-2015, kicked-off Tuesday at the Zhukovski Airfield. It is one of the largest air shows in the world with over 400,000 people expected to attend the event. The air show showcases Russia’s aircraft manufacturing capabilities and is organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and Rostec.
