Ukraine: This Ukrainian army column went to Mnogopolie and never came out
A column of Ukrainian army units was spotted near the village of Mnogopolie in Donetsk region on Tuesday. It appeared to be trying to slip through the encirclement of anti-Kiev forces in the Ilovaysk area. Later in the evening, the column was found destroyed on the same road near Mnogopolie, which is located 10 km (6.2 miles) south of the town of Ilovaysk.
A battle between pro- and anti-Kiev fighters occurred around the village on August 30-31, resulting in 60 casualties from the pro-Kiev Donbas Battalion. Burned out trucks were also seen in the area on September 1.
