Turkey: Protesters rally against Gaza attacks in Istanbul

Protesters rallied against Israel's missile attacks on Gaza during a protest held in Istanbul on Friday.

The demonstration was held following Muslim Friday prayers, with many protesters chanting for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to end their military operation against the State of Palestine and the Hamas government.

The protest follows Israel launching a 'major ground offensive' on Hamas in Gaza, Thursday, which happened after ten days of 'Operation Protection Edge', and after one day of UN-backed humanitarian ceasefire efforts in Cairo.
